The Refugee Total Orphans Project provides care for African refugees of five years and less. They are total orphans and instead of being placed in an orphanage they are raised by a care giver with basic  support and supervision provided by HEM.  Please give generously.  All donations made to THIS project through the donate button will receive tax receipts which you may use in Canada and the United State at tax filing.

With Covid-19, because of the lock-down, in refugee settlements there is considerable suffering, especially for orphans. Many aid organizations have left the area. The already limited funding for foodstuffs has reduced by a further 30 percent.  We ask you to please pray for us and to pray especially for those orphans in our care.  Also, please make a donation to help refugee orphans who are the most vulnerable.

Refugee Total Orphans Project

Hi!  My Name is Ester,

I am a refugee orphan living in Uganda. I am 16 months old. They say I am the daughter of a refugee mom from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She was unable to care for me and so left me.

Hope for Eternity Ministry (HEM) has found a mom to love and care for me. She is a refugee herself. There are a lot of us here.  My new mom’s name is Ester Uwamahora. She is 43 years old. Her husband was killed in the DRC.  Mom lives in the Kyaka ll refugee settlement, where she cares for me, with support from HEM.

We know the corona virus is really affecting some of you and your families financially.  If you are able, can you please send help for some basic food, clothing and medicines?  Also please say a little prayer for the good people at HEM, my new mom, and me.

I’d like a chance to help the world, when I grow up! Thanks!

Ntembagara Ester
